Paul V. Moyer
Paul V. Moyer was born in Minneapolis Minnesota in 1955, but grew up in Orlando, Florida. Mr. Moyer attended local Orlando schools and graduated with a B.A. in political science from the University of Central Florida (then-Florida Technological University in 1977. He attended Cumberland School of Law at Samford University in Birmingham Alabama and earned a Doctor of Jurisprudence in 1980. He is divorced with one daughter, Melissa.
Mr. Moyer has practiced in Central Florida since 1981 covering a wide range of legal matters, emphasizing bankruptcy, commercial and family law and family law mediation. In early 1999, Moyer and Straus, a partnership with Timothy Straus, merged with Prabodh Patel, with whom Mr. Moyer had practiced in the past at a firm in Longwood, Florida. With the added experience and knowledge of Mr. Patel, the new firm covers most aspects of the law.
